Introducing The Academy Guarantee
Lifeguarding Academy wants every student to be successful!
All courses run by Lifeguarding Academy are facilitated under the Academy Guarantee. If you are unsuccessful in completing your course, you can retake the course (and in some cases just the exam) for half of the original price of your course. The Academy Guarantee is subject to 100% attendance and participation and must be used within one year of the unsuccessful course and the Academy Guarantee does not apply to recertification courses.
Lifeguarding Academy is Toronto's Official academy of first aid and lifeguarding. All courses are WSIB approved and accredited through the Royal Lifesaving Society of Canada.

Through Lifeguarding Academy you can take all the necessary courses to become certified in first aid and even a certified lifeguard and instructor in Canada. Lifeguarding Academy and all courses are facilitated under the Academy Guarantee.

No, Lifeguarding Academy focuses on three areas of lifesaving: lifeguarding, first aid, and Instructing.
You can find all levels of first aid and CPR offered through LGA. All of our courses are WSIB approved.

3. My child wants to become a lifeguard, where do I start?
Bronze Medallion is the first course to take in order to start your lifeguarding training.
5. What happens if I fail my National Lifeguard course?
Unsuccessful National Lifeguard candidates are required to retake the National Lifeguard course and re-examining is not an option. The best way to increase the chances of success in National Lifeguard is to attend the National Lifeguard Prep course prior to your course.
6. Is there a wet portion to the Standard First Aid course?
No, Standard First Aid is only consists of dry training.
