The Lifeguarding Academy mobile application (“the App”) is designed exclusively for authorized instructors to access course and attendance information. The App does not collect personal information from the device user such as name, email, location, contacts, or usage analytics.

Information Collected by the App

To support secure access and core functionality, the App collects and transmits the following technical data to Lifeguarding Academy’s internal systems:

• Device name (e.g., “Instructor's iPhone”)

• Last synced date and time (used to confirm data freshness)

• Device push-notification token (used only to deliver instructor-specific notifications)

This information is used solely for authentication, maintaining secure session access, and enabling push notifications.

This data is not shared, sold, or used for tracking or advertising.

Information Displayed but Not Collected

The App displays course, attendance, and student details retrieved from Lifeguarding Academy’s secure servers.

This information:

• Is not collected from the device user

• Is accessible only to properly authenticated instructors

• Reflects data already present in our internal systems

• Is not stored permanently on the device

No Tracking or Analytics

The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising frameworks, or tracking technologies. The App does not collect cookies, location, browsing data, or behavioral data.

Data Security

All transmitted data is encrypted in transit. Instructor access is authenticated through secure server-side verification.
