Refund & Rescheduling Policies

All refund and rescheduling requests must be submitted via email to admin@lifeguardingacademy.com

1* We will be considering the time that your email is sent, not the time that we see it. 2* Rescheduled courses are no longer refundable. 3* Rescheduling multiple times is subjected to administrative fees. 4* Course fees do not include any additionally purchased add-ons. 5* Tax is additional.

Refunds:

If you need to cancel your course at Lifeguarding Academy and want a refund, you will need to send an email to admin@lifeguardingacademy.com at least 2 business days before the start of your course. The refund amount is subject to administrative fees depending on how long before the start of the course you are submitting the request.

- More than 5 days before the course: $35 fee
- 3-5 days before the course: $75 fee
- Less than 2 days before the course: Not refundable
- After the start of the course: Not refundable

Rescheduling:

If you need to reschedule your course at Lifeguarding Academy, you should send an email to admin@lifeguardingacademy.com. Once we process your request, we will provide you with a digital gift certificate that you may use to register into any course at any other date that works better for you. Your gift certificate may be subject to an administrative fee depending on how many days before the start of the course you send us your email request. While it may take us up to 48 hours to respond to your email, we will be considering the time you sent in your request, not the time we see it.

- More than 5 days before the course: No fee (full credit)
- 3-5 days before the course: $50 fee
- Less than 2 days before the course: You'll receive a credit for 50% of the course fees
- After the start of the course: You'll receive a credit for 50% of the course fees

Your gift-certificate will never expire, and can be transferred to someone else if you wish. Credits & gift certificates cannot be converted into a cash refund.

Course Material:

Purchased or rented course material are non-refundable once received by the student. Rental manuals are to be returned at the end of the course in a condition similar to how it was receive - normal wear and tear is perfectly fine. Should the materials be damaged or not returned, you will be charged the full value of the material plus HST.

Online-only courses (webinars) are final sale.

Lifeguarding Academy reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at their own discretion. Reasons for refusal of service can include but not be limitted to inappropriate conduct or harrassing other students and/or instructors. Students found in violation of our code of conduct will not be eligible for refunds or credits.
