COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Standard First Aid & CPR C recertification course is ideal for candidates who need to refresh their first aid knowledge and recertify their qualification. This course reviews all aspects of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and meets all legislation for both provincial insurance, WSIB work safety boards, university/college and work requirements. All first aid courses include AED training. 

Note: If your last First Aid course was a recertification course, you will be required to register for a full SFA course.

Course Description

This course is designed for those who are looking for general knowledge of first aid principles and emergency injury treatment. One will learn rescue breathing techniques, CPR, wound assessment, choking, and how to treat external bleeding, a heart attack or stoke, and how to properly use an AED. CPR-B covers only infant and child skill training with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Course Description

The Bronze recertification course is offered to candidates who are in need of recertifying either their Bronze Medallion or Cross awards to keep their certificate up to date. The exam will consist of physicals, a short review and rescues. Please keep in mind that your Bronze certifications do not have to be current in order to move onto your next course.
