Lifeguarding Academy

Nature & Scope:

The Lifeguard/Instructor will be a high energy hands-on experienced Lifeguard who enjoys working with children, is team focused and values driven and has a willingness to take on new challenges. This role is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the overall safety and enjoyment of the Osler Summer Club members and guests. Your customer service, safety certifications and organizational skills combined with your high level of attention to detail will be showcased as you help to provide top notch service and safety supervision. You are a person who is friendly, outgoing and will be able to remain calm and professional in all situations.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Exceptional commitment to customer service; highly proactive, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to complete projects/tasks.
-Strong team player with an orientation to take initiative. Flexible, adaptive and ability to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities.
-Ability to work in an environment where unanticipated changes in demands often necessitate a change in priorities.
-Strong judgment, interpersonal and influencing skills.
-Possess excellent verbal and written skills.
-Possess professional maturity, sensitivity and impeccable integrity that exemplify the Club’s core values.
-Conditions of Employment Must be available:
-June & September – Saturdays and Sundays only
-July & August – 4 to 5 shifts per week including weekends and holidays
-Required to work holidays between June and September
-Hours: between 8am and 8pm

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

-NL
-Standard First Aid with CPR-C
-Re-certifications must remain current
