Rescheduling & Refund Policy

Lifeguarding Academy is pleased to offer the below refund & rescheduling options. Please be mindful that last minute cancellations can sometime cause classes to not run therefore, the below policies are strictly enforced in order to provide you and the other candidates in your course assurance that the course will not be cancelled last minute. We appreciate your understanding regarding this matter.


Bronze, NL, & First Aid Courses:

Refund:
Full refunds will be process via the original method of payment up to 72 hours prior to the date of the course (12am). 

Rescheduling:

You may reschedule your course up to 48 hours before the date of the course (12am). Candidates who wish to reschedule need to send an email to admin@lifeguardingacademy.com with their name and their desired date to be rescheduled to. Rescheduling within 72 hours prior to the start of the course can be subject to administration fees. See below for the possible associated fees.

Early rescheduling (minimum 72 hours before the course date) will be subject to a $25 dollar administration fee.

Late rescheduling (minimum 48 hours before the course) will be subject to $50 administration fee.

Last-minute rescheduling due to medical reasons are allowed but a medical note is required to be submitted within 72 hours of the event.

Rescheduling is no longer possible once past the 48 hour window and rescheduled courses are no longer refundable. 

Instructors & Advanced Courses

Refund:
These courses require a minimum 7 days email notice if you wish to cancel.

Rescheduling:
Early rescheduling (minimum 72 hours before the course date) will be subject to a $25 dollar administration fee.

Late rescheduling (minimum 48 hours before the course) will be subject to $50 administration fee.

Rescheduling is no longer possible once past the 48 hour window and rescheduled courses are no longer refundable. 

Webinars

Webinar access is final sale and non-refundable.

Course Material

Course material (including whistles) are not refundable once issued to the student.

Rented Course Material

Any rented course material is to be returned to the instructor of the course on or prior to the end of your course.
Students are responsible to return the course material (course text) in the same condition that they received it. Students who damage the course manuals will automatically be charged the full fee of the manuals plus HST. See below for the prices.

Canadian First Aid Manual: $28.25
